for our students. A few of the hallmarks of our program

Learning Investigations, which engage students in in-depth,
long-term projects that integrate fieldwork and the use
of experts
-
Multiple structures for creating strong school culture,
including Guiding Principles, Buddy Time, and Conflict
Resolution
-
A combination of assessment methods, providing a balance
of authentic assessments (i.e. portfolios and EXPOs of
Student Work) and standardized assessments (i.e. quarterly
interim assessments).

Teachers “looping” with their students for
two years in most grades

Scheduled teacher collaboration and planning time during
the school day and on and off-site professional development
