Job Description

K-3rd Dual Immersion Teachers Needed at an academically rigorous school in San Jose

Voices is a new charter school in its third year in the Franklin McKinley School District.  We will grow one grade per year until reaching full capacity as a K-8 school with ~380 students.   We have a 2-Way Immersion program in Spanish and English.  We are seeking three outstanding teachers to join our team.

Seeking teachers with:

- Native or near native fluency in Spanish (Required for all positions)
- 2+ years teaching experience preferred
- Balanced literacy experience
- Interest in working as a team teacher
- Strength working with linguistically and socio-economically diverse populations
- Ability to develop standards based curriculum
- Clear California teaching credentials with authorization to deliver instruction in student’s primary language
