In addition to our Information Services, Accountability Services, and Development Services, the Charter Schools Development Center offers a broad range of customized consulting services. A few examples of our personalized trainings and tailored assistance include:

Individualized governance assistance, including:

• New governing board orientations
• Advanced governance training
• Development and review of school policies

Educational program assistance and training, including:

• Standards development and alignment of school to state standards
• Alternative assessment development and review
• Alignment of standards, curriculum, and assessment

Assistance with fiscal and operational issues, including:

• Development and negotiation of an annual fiscal and operational agreement (a.k.a. “Memorandum of Understanding, or M.O.U.”)
• Development and negotiation of special education financial and service arrangements
